Fostering Community, Connection & Wellness
Through the Arts
for HeART Haus
The Need
In a time when so many are struggling with isolation, stress and mental health challenges...
Often without access to spaces that feel safe, inclusive and human...
And where opportunities for meaningful community connection are increasingly limited due to our busy, online lives...
HeART Haus was created to respond to this need by bringing people together through creativity. We believe healing happens in community, and the arts provide a natural pathway back to connection.

The HeART Haus
Approach
HeART Haus uses the expressive arts as tools for wellness, self-expression and connection. Creativity allows people to process experiences, regulate emotions and build relationships in ways that feel accessible and supportive.
Our approach is inclusive, welcoming, and grounded in the understanding that there is no single way to heal. Art becomes a shared language that brings people together.

Founders
Jaymie Gerard, M.Ed., is a founding member of HeART Haus and a lifelong advocate for creative expression, wellness and community connection. She has been a professional singer-songwriter for over 30 years and holds a Master’s degree in Education, with more than two decades of experience designing and leading transformational workshops across health, wellness, spirituality, meditation, and business. Jaymie’s work is rooted in the belief that we heal through community, especially in a world increasingly shaped by screens and disconnection. Through HeART Haus, she is committed to creating spaces where people feel supported, inspired, and connected to themselves and one another.
Vincent DeGennaro is a founding member of HeART Haus and a lifelong advocate for the arts, community, and wellness-centered living. His work is grounded in the belief that shared creative spaces foster connection, purpose, and belonging.
Vincent studied marketing and advertising at Montclair State University before attending culinary school in Las Vegas, where he developed a deep appreciation for culinary arts as a form of creative expression. Having grown up in the food and beverage industry, he brings extensive experience in hospitality, event design, and the creation of intentional spaces. He specializes in culinary-driven events and is highly skilled in the design and construction of kitchens, bars, and unique environments that encourage collaboration and community engagement.
In addition to his creative work, Vincent is an 18-year veteran first responder whose career of service has shaped his passion for wellness and mental health advocacy. He is committed to continuing his education in psychology and mental health, with the goal of supporting individuals and communities through compassionate, informed leadership. Through HeART Haus, Vincent is dedicated to helping build spaces where creativity, resilience, and human connection can thrive.
Jaime Lyn is a founding member of HeART Haus and a devoted practitioner of energy healing, wellness, and conscious living. Her work centers on guiding individuals toward deeper self-connection, emotional healing, and personal growth through intuitive and integrative healing practices.
A certified practitioner in multiple modalities—including hypnotherapy, past-life regression (QHHT & BQH), inner child healing, and meditation—Jaime Lyn has spent years studying and working with some of the world’s most powerful energetic sites, including sacred locations in Egypt, Peru, Costa Rica and throughout the United States. She has co-created and facilitated healing experiences that invite reflection, alignment, and transformation.
Jaime Lyn’s approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens most powerfully in safe, supportive community. Through HeART Haus, she is committed to creating accessible spaces where creativity, wellness, and human connection come together. She is also a single mother of three, an entrepreneur, and an engaged member of her local community, bringing both heart and grounded leadership to the organization’s mission.
Samantha Long is the President and Founder of HeART Haus. As a somatic self-care coach, singer, and writer, Samantha’s work lives at the intersection of healing, authenticity, creativity, and community building.
An active member and leader within the Fair Lawn arts community, she has developed and led initiatives including the annual Arts & Wellness Festival and the Mental Health Open Mic — events that center the role of creative expression in supporting mental and emotional well-being.
Through HeART Haus, Samantha is building an accessible, community-rooted platform where the arts are not seen as a luxury, but as essential to connection, self-expression, and collective growth.
